Our team’s goal is to first and foremost provide a comprehensive and professional service for our clients. We listen to your claims and stories of activity, then attempt to obtain evidence to support the claims. We use state of the art equipment along with equipment developed by OMPI to Document Evidence of paranormal events. In most cases there is a non-paranormal explanation, and sometimes our investigation turns up the unexplainable however unexplainable does not necessarily mean paranormal. But whatever the outcome we WILL NOT just investigate and walk away. We understand that paranormal activity can not just be turned on and off like a light, we remain available to our clients regardless of the outcome of the investigation to help in any way we can.
OMPI operates on evidence, if we can't document it, we can’t consider it. This is the reason we train our investigators to employ many different techniques in hopes we hit on one that works, thus lending credibility to different theories. OMPI studies many paranormal theories and techniques in hopes of one day to discover the answer to the question...is there life after death.
My name is Mike Pardue and I am the founder of Oquirrh Mountain Paranormal Investigators, I have assembled a team of investigators that are not so quick to assume all the odd stuff we see and hear is of the paranormal. Usually there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for the occurrences.
We are a scientific and evidence based group of investigators who are searching for the truth about ghosts and hauntings.
What to Expect:
Let’s start from the beginning, once you have made the decision to have an investigation done, fill out the investigation request form on our "contact us" page, after we have received the request we will contact you at which time we will conduct an informal interview to determine what has been occurring.
After the interview we will set up an appointment to have one of our lead investigators and case manager meet with you so that you can give us a tour of the location and show us where the active areas are.
We do ask that you be present during the investigation but will not have you be involved in it. We ask that any children living at the location not be present, we don’t want them to be frightened by us conducting an investigation. Please note; all of these steps including the investigation can be done the same day if you prefer
On the day of the investigation our team will determine a location for our command area and set up our equipment, video cameras, wireless audio, passive motion cameras, lighting, etc.
We begin with baseline readings with some of our equipment throughout the location. At this point we start looking into causes for the activity described to us during the tour, this is to rule out all possibilities before we consider the paranormal causes, approximately eighty (80) percent of all investigations prove to have a reasonable “earthly” explanation.
Once the investigation is concluded we will analyze all the evidence collected, this process can take up to two weeks depending on the equipment used and the size of the location. We will then make an appointment to reveal all evidence to you, we also make copies of all evidence for you.
Once we have completed the reveal, and determined what we are dealing with, we will discuss with you options to deal with the situation. However understand there is no proven method to eliminate a haunting and you should be extremely leery of anyone claiming they can..
Be assured we do not use methods such as, Ouija Boards, Provoking, or séances, we do not invite anything into your home or business, we simply conduct a comprehensive investigation to attempt to determine what is occurring, gather evidence and assist you in determining the best method to deal with the problem.
