Here we are! As you can see, for the most part we are quite literally a family.  Dave and I have had several personal paranormal experiences growing up; it was trying to find the logical explanation to these experiences that lead us into the haunting field of paranormal research.

Adam Bringhurst...Investigator / Tech. Specialist

My career is in the H.V.A.C. field. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors.
I guess it's fair to say that I am obsessed with the paranormal. This obsession has been fueled through the years by numerous unexplained personal experiences.
I joined O.M.P.I. because there is nothing more exciting to me than discovering solid, concrete evidence of paranormal activity.
It is very easy to jump to conclusions when there are signs of a possible haunting, I like to keep a very critical mindset when approaching this subject, because I strive for the truth.

Leisa Pardue, A.K.A. "Karma"...Investigator

My occupation is in veterinary medicine, public relations, and customer service, and has been for over 25 years.

For as long as I can remember, I have experienced things that I cannot explain. This has left me with an insatiable drive to find answers, but with every answer I've found, I've been left with many more questions.

It is not my belief that every unexplained event is the result of paranormal activity. In fact, it is my firm belief that you should never come to a paranormal conclusion before exploring each and every possibility.

Rev. Fr. Mike Pardue...Founder

I have extensive studies in psychology, parapsychology, demonology, and theology, shaping my diverse academic background. My fascination with the paranormal as it pertains to hauntings has spanned the last 45 years, sparked by a paranormal encounter from my youth that left me with unanswered questions. This experience set me on a lifelong path of researching and investigating ghosts and hauntings, motivated by a desire to find explanations for the unexplained.
During my early years in the field, I became a part of a few investigative groups, hoping to find the answers that had eluded me. However, it became clear that my quest for the truth demanded a more personal approach. It was then that I turned to my brother, who had also grappled with similar encounters, and together, we embarked on a mission to unearth the evidence that might one day unveil the genuine nature of hauntings.
The formation of Oquirrh Mountain Paranormal Investigators marked a significant step in our shared journey. Since its inception, our group has encountered numerous instances of unexplainable activity, each contributing to our search for answers. Yet, the one piece of irrefutable evidence that has long eluded us remains just out of reach, serving as a constant source of motivation.
Our commitment extends beyond competition with other paranormal groups; we actively seek to collaborate and share ideas and information with open-minded individuals and organizations. Our primary objective is to uncover answers and utilize the data we've amassed over the years to assist those who are also in search of the truth. Driven by our profound curiosity and the desire to provide help to those in need of answers, we remain dedicated to our ongoing exploration of the paranormal, one enigma at a time.

Rev. Dave Pardue...Tech. Specialist / Lead Investigator

I am a computer technician by trade with 15 years’ experience. 27 years semiconductor processing field.  I am critical of the paranormal but have had some unexplained experiences. (they remain just unexplained) Everyone I know has had at least one paranormal experience of some kind. So what is it really that we are seeing, or hearing or whatever.  My brother Mike founded the group and asked me to join which I jumped at the chance. I wanted to do investigations myself to ensure that no hoaxing was taking place and to gather my own evidence because in paranormal research, as in science, evidence is everything.

Jenn Pardue...Lead Investigator / Case Research

Jennifer is a seasoned paranormal researcher and investigator with over 20 years of experience in the field. Her love for getting at the truth, and her attention to detail, makes her a master at debunking. Over the course of her years spent as a paranormal investigator, Jennifer has conducted countless investigations into purportedly haunted locations, using her expertise in various tools and techniques to document and analyze paranormal activity.
Her contributions to the field have helped to shape and advance the study of paranormal phenomenon, and her work continues to inspire and inform new generations of investigators.
Jennifer's commitment to the pursuit of knowledge in the paranormal realm remains as strong as ever, and she looks forward to many more years of exploration and discovery in this fascinating field.

Jon Pardue...Investigator

I got into this field for a few reasons.  I've had a couple of different experiences with paranormal activity and that has piqued my interest as to trying to solve unanswered questions.  Another reason is even though the Paranormal field is nothing new and can date back to ancient times with theories of magic, Theology, and even Demonology, the investigation aspect has just begun to be pioneered with the new technologies and theories. With hopes of using even more advanced equipment, we can prove some of these new theories and ones that have been around for centuries.
Some of the skills I contribute to our team is I love history, and many others seem to find the subject boring.  So researching old buildings, ancient texts and other theories throughout history has fallen unto my lot!  I also happen to be steadfast in my beliefs and don't get shaken too easily so I can research some of the darker aspects of the paranormal field and investigate claims of demonic or poltergeist type of haunting's.

Teina Pardue...Case Manager

I have been married to David Pardue for 25 years, and we have four wonderful children. We enjoy traveling and visiting historical sites. I have worked in the semiconductor industry for 28 years, and enjoy doing research and meeting new people. I have a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, and will be completing my MBA in 2010. I cannot say that I have personally experienced paranormal activity however; I have heard some experiences of the Pardue family members that I find intriguing. Therefore, I figured this would be a great family experience and a way for me to contribute to the study of this field.

Liz Pardue
I have been married to Tyler Pardue since June 21st, 2014, but have been a part of the Pardue family for the last 5 years. How lucky am I that I’m a part of a family that has the same interests as I do?! I currently work in the Solar industry, which I love.

Ever since I can remember I have been interested in the unknown. I have had a lot of different experiences that I cannot say were for sure paranormal or not, which is why I am seeking answers. I am hoping that investigating with O.M.P.I. I will be able to find some answers, rather than leaving me with more unanswered questions about the paranormal. Plus, how cool would it be to make contact with someone…or something from the other side?

Tyler Pardue
I was born May 7, 1987 into the loving arms of the Pardue family, which I am proud to call my own. I have recently married my beautiful wife, Liz, on June 21, 2014. I have worked as a composites technician at Nammo Composite Solutions for the past 8 years. I enjoy producing art and music. My interests include alot of the unknown such as dreams, outer space, time travel and the after-life. Paranormal investigation is right up my alley. I have had a handful of experiences that remain unanswered as to what or how something has happened. I am logical when it comes to evidence, I look for all the possibilities, other than paranormal, as to what could have caused something to happen first. I am excited to expand my experience in this field while collecting documented evidence of my own.

Rev. Shane Mields...Audio Specialist and Investigator    Washington
From a very young age, I have had varying experiences with the paranormal. I gained interest not only from my personal paranormal interactions but influences from family members involvement of the unexplained as well. This has led me to study and embrace what most people would call the Strange, odd, and just plain weird. A lot of situations that I have been part of, still to this day remains unexplainable to me. Because of this, I have studied every aspect of the paranormal, interviewed and met people from around the world that had direct ties or encounters with the unexplained, and have tried to formulate my own belief system into these abnormal experiences. With all that being said, there is a very fine line between blind belief and proof. Maintaining a healthy, skeptical viewpoint of things that seem at first that they cannot be explained, is the key to finding reasonable, legitimate proof to a supposed haunting. Then, if no proof or reasoning can be found, can lead to the question of: “We just don’t know”. My background and knowledge in Construction has been very beneficial when it comes to researching a possible haunting. However, the instinct and intuition of people should not be washed away and forgotten. For example, if that feeling of dread from being watched or followed by an unseen force just can’t be shaken, then no amount of trying to explain the feelings are due to a creaky structure or a noisy furnace, will calm the nerves of someone who truly believes they are haunted. Also, my knowledge in sound engineering is an attribute that helps in EVP, or just having an ability to record a possible occurrence for proof and future research. I am humbled and ecstatic to be part of the Oquirrh Mountain Paranormal group, and being part of a team such as this, to better understand our world around us, is an adventure in its own.
